A lot of workplaces weather it be retail or corporate offices don't accept a simple "jeans and a t-shirt" to wear to work because it's not professional enough and at the same time many companies want you to dress the brand and represent their company simply by your fashion statements. Example: would you wear ripped bleached jeans and a graphic tee if you worked at a law firm? No didn't think so.
